Revision Policy
At Assignment Helper UK, we want the final work to reflect the instructions agreed at the time of order. If something in the delivered work does not match the original brief, we offer revisions in line with the policy below.
This page explains when a revision is free, how to request it, what falls outside scope, and how quickly revision requests are handled.

1. What a Revision Means
A revision is an update made to your delivered work so it better matches the original instructions, files, rubric, feedback, referencing style, and order details you provided when placing the order.
A revision is meant to correct, refine, or align the work. It is not a way to turn an existing order into a different task.
2. Free Revision Eligibility
You may request a free revision where:
- The delivered work does not follow the original brief
- A required instruction was missed
- The agreed referencing style was not followed
- The submitted draft needs edits to better reflect the original order requirements
- Your tutor feedback clearly points to issues that relate to the original brief
Free revisions are only available where the request stays within the scope of the order originally placed.
3. Revision Request Window
To keep the process fair and manageable, revision requests must be made within the following timeframes:
- Standard assignments: within 14 days of delivery
- Longer projects, dissertations, or thesis work: within 30 days of delivery
If a request is made after that period, we may still be able to help, but it may be treated as a paid editing or rewriting request depending on the changes needed.
4. What Is Not Covered as a Free Revision
A revision will be treated as new work if you ask for any of the following after delivery:
- A new topic or changed question
- New reading materials, sources, or case studies not shared earlier
- A different module focus or country context
- A different structure, format, or academic level than the one originally ordered
- A new referencing style not requested at the start
- Additional word count beyond the original order
- New software, calculations, models, or technical requirements not included in the original brief
- A full rewrite because preferences changed after approval
In such cases, we will review the request and send a fresh quote before any extra work begins.
5. How to Request a Revision
To request a revision, send your feedback through the official order email thread or student portal, if available.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear revision notes
- The exact parts that need to be changed
- Any tutor or marker comments
- Your preferred deadline for the revised version
The clearer your comments are, the faster and more accurately the revision can be completed.
6. Feedback Must Be Specific
We cannot act on vague comments such as:
- “This is not good”
- “It needs improvement”
- “Do it again”
- “My tutor did not like it”
Instead, please tell us exactly what needs to change. For example:
- Add more critical analysis in Section 2
- Follow Harvard instead of APA as originally requested
- Replace general examples with UK-based case law already mentioned in the brief
- Shorten the introduction and strengthen the conclusion
Clear instructions help avoid delays and repeated back-and-forth.
7. Revision Turnaround Time
Revision timing depends on the amount of work involved and how close the academic deadline is.
Typical turnaround times are:
- Minor revisions: 12 to 24 hours
- Moderate revisions: 24 to 48 hours
- Larger revisions: 48 to 72 hours
Urgent revision requests are handled on a priority basis where possible, but this depends on the size of the requested changes and how quickly complete feedback is provided.
8. One Complete Set of Feedback at a Time
To avoid confusion and conflicting edits, we ask clients to send one complete set of revision instructions at a time.
If additional comments are sent later, after the revision has already started, those may need to be treated as a separate revision round.
9. Your Availability During the Revision Process
If our team needs clarification while your revision is in progress, timely replies are important.
If a deadline is missed because:
- key files were not sent,
- revision notes were incomplete,
- or responses to queries were delayed,
then Assignment Helper UK cannot be held responsible for the delay caused by missing information.
10. Approval and Order Closure
Please review the delivered file carefully when you receive it.
An order may be treated as closed where:
- You confirm approval, or
- You do not respond with revision feedback within a reasonable period after delivery
If a file has already been approved and you later ask for changes that go beyond the original scope, the request may no longer qualify as a free revision.
11. Tutor Feedback After Submission
If you receive tutor or lecturer comments after submission, we are happy to review them.
Free changes may still be possible where the comments relate directly to the original instructions. If the comments introduce a new direction, a new question, a different structure, or extra research that was not part of the original order, the work may fall outside free revision coverage.
12. Channel of Communication
For accuracy and record-keeping, revision requests should be sent through official support channels only.
We do not guarantee action on revision requests sent through:
- social media inboxes
- live chat summaries
- verbal instructions without written confirmation
This protects both you and us by ensuring there is a proper written record of what was requested.
13. Fair Use of the Revision Policy
Our revision policy is designed to correct genuine issues, not to replace a new order.
We reserve the right to refuse a free revision request where:
- the request falls outside the original brief,
- the request is abusive or unreasonable,
- the policy window has expired,
- or the delivered work already matches the agreed instructions
Where a free revision is not available, we may still offer a paid solution where appropriate.
14. Related Policies
This revision policy should be read together with our:
- Terms and Conditions
- Refund Policy
- Cancellation Policy
- Delivery Policy
If there is any conflict between these pages, Assignment Helper UK will review the matter based on the original order record, uploaded files, communication trail, and delivery history.
